I wrote this on the train from Llanymynech to Birmingham. It fails in my endeavour to not seem anti tech. Everytime I express the realities of how I feel something comes out that aligns with this idea that I hate it. I don’t. I see the benefits and I also see the downsides. The downsides just make the piece seem negative. I cannot escape this it seems. Even in the act of bringing the digital out into the physical world people immediately assume my stance is critical. Although my scrolls do not state scrolling is bad, and just give it a different form people start questioning their relationship to it and start to change their own behaviours.

A lot of my feedback as how my scrolls would be more interesting than an algorithm, than a phone. They’re not trying to be. But there is the assumption.
