Completed the painting of the second scroll, waiting a week before it dries fully to then varnish it with Satin Varnish. Then onto sewing the sides and inserting the handles which I’ve got prepared on my desk. Very excited to take off the masking tape!

Getting on with the third scroll and other creative endeavours whilst I wait.

Spoke to an artist friend today who I met whilst doing the masters through the discussion I was part of in Feb and we’ve both worked as art directors in the same company! And then both pivoted to do and MFA (she graduated last year from City and Guilds and I went to see her work at London Art Fair in Feb). So weird, but really cool to speak to someone in EXACTLY the same boat as me.
