During this weeks lecture we talked about curation and the conversation led specifically to the purposeful degradation of works and playing with that aspect. I felt it apt to reflect on this aspect of my scrolls. The idea that people can roll them up and therefore over time, especially with the use of cotton canvas and acrylics, the piece will change and degrade. This echoes the change in psyche as we Doomscroll, the effect technologies could have on us over time.
