On the 18th of December I’m doing an instagram live with the founder of a responsive learning AI research company who are still in the seed phase.

We have been in a back and forth via email about the philosophical and moral issues surrounding building AI models off existing internet data compared to closed off models that will likely have heavy bias. AI issues are beginning to mirror society’s issues as a whole.

We will be discussing all of this in a 45 minute conversation, I’m going to use this blog to prepare for the conversation to make sure I get all my points across clearly and succinctly. It will be fascinating.

She is one of a few positioned to have a huge effect on how this digital shift emerges and she is very clearly thinking through these dilemmas. Talking with creatives and artists such as myself, she aims to try to make AI work with humans and grow alongside us.
