When going for a walk around the nearest park in Birmingham (where my boyfriend lives), desperately trying to find green space and nature in the city, I stumbled across Midlands Arts Centre in Canon Hill Park.

I only had time to look around the Sari Stories exhibition downstairs as a small child attached themselves to me and I spent the rest of my time looking for their missing parent.

I’m planning on going back next weekend to see the ‘Made at MAC’ exhibition
